‘Confirmation of an unspoken truth’: Community perspectives on men’s HIV testing behaviour

This study  released in 2015 for Centre for Communication Impaction reveals findings from  formative research  conducted by Centre for Aids Reseasrch and Evaluation ( CADRE). The findings give insights into ideational factors around HIV testing, HIV treatment, condom use and health-seeking behaviour amongs men in South Africa. It provides ideas on more effective ways of supporting the sexual and reproductive health needs of men and finding new avenues for engaging men in HIV prevention. These insights will informed the development of a new component of the Brothers for Life media campaign promoting HIV testing, consistent condom use and ART among men.
